What should I expect during my first visit?

Your first session is a conversation and assessment. We'll discuss your history, your goals, and what's been going on with your body. Together, we'll create a plan that respects where you are and where you want to go. Sessions typically last 60 minutes, and you'll leave with clarity and next steps.

Do I need a referral to schedule?

In Virginia, you can schedule directly with a physical therapist without a physician referral for evaluation and initial care. If you have questions about your insurance coverage or specific needs, we're happy to walk you through your options during scheduling.

How many sessions will I need?

Every body and every situation is different. Some clients feel significant improvement in 3-4 sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support over several months. We'll discuss expectations early and adjust as we go based on your progress and goals.

Our team is motivated and highly trained to help each client reach their specific goals. Through our Truecoach app, we will provide a program designed for you, including mobility work and exercises tailored to your needs. We are also available to support your progress outside of sessions. All of your sessions are one-on-one, each lasting 60 minutes. These sessions range from high level manual therapy to progressive strength training and include a variety of tools at our disposal such as dry needling, Blood Flow Restriction, and elite manual therapy to help you return to your desired activity faster. We utilize Vald Forceplates and Dynomometer for objective testing, providing real-time feedback and measurable progress (no guesswork). Everything that you need is included in your plan.
